New iPad stuck on waiting for items to copy?

So, I've had my New iPad for about a week and a bit now, and everytime it syncs, it always gets stuck on waiting for items to copy.
Everything has synced across, and I thought I was being impatient, so I've left it on for about 1 1/2-2 hours while I went to a lecture, and it's still going!
Any ideas? Its on step 6 out of 6 by the way.

That happened with my third gen the first time I synced it to a backup of my first Gen ipad. Not since though.

That happened with my third gen the first time I synced it to a backup of my first Gen ipad. Not since though.

Mine seems to be doing it everytime I sync. I think I'm just gonna restore it and resync everything.
