New Ipads announced Oct 30

Awesome!!!

I’m all over that 11” Pro!!! Probably 512GB Space Gray but we’ll see what the prices are... but at least 256GB...

For me it’s all about that new design, with the slim bezels and 5.86mm thinness. The A12X is the icing on the cake.

If old Apple Pencil doesn’t work with it, well... I’ll be picking up the new one I guess!!! Lol...

Can’t wait!!!

I was settled on the 10.5” Pro before rumors of these new bezel-less versions started. I am an artist who travels a lot, and although I liked the larger screen size for art, I didn’t like the overall size of the 12.9” for traveling. But now that they are shrinking the physical size of the 12.9” iPad Pro and increasing the 10.5” screen to 11”...I may have to take another look before I decide. Either way, I’m really excited for the 30th.

Really curious to see what they do with the bezels of this device. If they go the route of the iPhone and all have a black front I may be swayed to going with the Silver/White model. However, since the bezels will still be there in a larger capacity than on the X series it wouldn't surprise me if they kept the white on the Gold/Silver models. Either way, I am super excited to finally see these new Pro models and can't wait to get my hands on one. Gotta see them announced before I can commit to 11 or 12.9 inch model. Exciting times for sure!

The sad thing is there is absolutely no reason for me to want to update my original 12.9 iPadPro. It even has a new battery.

And yet, I've been waiting and waiting and waiting and waiting for the opportunity to do just that. :) I was starting to feel like Waiting for Guffman.

I will say my iPadPro, now two years and nine months old, has been a stellar device.

Anyone notice that the graphic for the October 30 event on Apple's home page keeps changing? But all are drawings/paintings . . . .

I can’t see them going white. I reckon the bezels will be the same thickness as on a MacBook Pro (probably a hair thicker for ease of handling). Imagine white bezels on an MBP! I also think having white bezels will go against their unified design language. So I think silver will have black.

Trust me I hope you're right! Black bezels on every model should have been the standard all along IMO but I guess we'll have to wait and see. Now that I am thinking about it a gold iPad Pro with a black front would look really stunning! I haven't had a gold color Apple product since the iPhone 6 plus but that could bring me back!
 
#1. All those Apple logos were designed and drawn with the new Apple Pencil. Which will likey have some new must have feature.
#2. New Price not $649 probably $849 base Price. IMO.
#3. I hope we get the same 120Hz Promotoon display or an improved version.
#4. The fact that it keeping the same resolution. And its powered by an A12X will be faster than most laptops.

And base storage of 128gb, rising to 512gb (so no 256)
 
I hope that pro will fit in my Apple leather sleeve that I have for the 10.5. Don’t wanna buy another

I have an Air 2. I wonder how the form factor compares to the larger of the upcoming iPad Pro's. I was never interested in the current 'jumbo' iPad Pro, but this new one may not be that much bigger than my Air 2?...

I think he meant base would be 128 (up from the current 64), with the next higher available storage option being 512, skipping over the 256 option that is currently offered.
I don’t think that will happen, as they offer 128 on the regular iPad and I can’t imagine they would offer no new iPad with 256.
I can see them adding a 1 TB option, however.

Ohhhh, that makes more sense!
Yeah I’m thinking either 128/512/TB or 256/512/TB with a very high entry price point

Looking back I’m so mad I got rid of my iPad Air 2 for the 2nd gen 12.9 Pro...know I’m going to do the same darn thing with this thing but it’ll hurt more because over $200 worth of accessories will be wasted.

Same here man, had to jump to an iPad Pro 1 from iPad Air cos of legacy reasons, then iPad Pro 1 to iPad Pro 2 cos I thought A10X would give a leg up, and now this cos USB C :(

I just want a stupid A12X because Microsoft Office apps load slow there that’s my pitiful stupid no sense excuse. ;)

Base storage won't be 128GB any time soon.

The whole idea of having a low base storage (64GB) is so Apple can encourage buyers to upgrade to 256GB. Most consumers want 128GB but Apple will force buyers to go 256GB.

Alternatively, they can just raise the minimum price and go from selling low/medium/high to selling medium/high. I wouldn't be at all surprised if the new iPP is 128GB/512GB only.
