Just set up my new iPhone 13 Pro and used the transfer method to set it up from my old one. I now have a huge number of apps showing up under “Other” in the App Library. Restarting hasn’t fixed it. Any thoughts?

I got my phone at 8am and it took hours to fully update and for all the apps in the library to categorize properly; but they did.
It was extreme. And make sure it’s plugged in and connected to Wi-Fi.
How did people do the set up? I took the option to do everything direct from the old phone instead of a restore from iCloud. Everything including the time to update the 13 to the actual current ios 15 version took a little over 30 minutes and everything is exactly duplicated from the old phone, except maybe one or 2 settings.
Fingers crossed. It’s been four hours for me so far and all non-Apple apps are still in the “other” folder.
I’m experiencing this as well. I used the “Download from iCloud” option at setup.

Same problem here too. It’s driving me nuts! It’s been 4 and half hours since I restored from iCloud.
I began at 8am and most of the apps had moved by about 2:30pm. About 20 minutes I was en route home so no Wi-Fi but yea. At one point I was so disappointed I plugged the phone in right next to my router and went about my day checking only periodically.

I have the same problem, It's now 9:00pm EST. I activated my phone at 11:30 am. Still nothing
Pages and the other iApps are also in my “other” folder. This one screams of bug to me.
Crazy how Apple misses stuff like this on launch day.
It’s interesting how many issues are iPhone 13 related. I had iOS 15 on my 12 Pro with zero issues.
Has anyone had their folders sorted correctly yet? I’m on 1 hour from restore with no change yet. Hopefully when I wake up.
