Just got my iPhone 13 promax in gold Last thur and I found some color faded on the right top of metal frame the next day. (Pretty sure they are not scratches)
Not sure if it’s normal ? Orit gets worse after use ? Does anyone has the same issue
Thanks for replying the post ?

It looks to me like your phone already has some wear and tear around the rim from taking the phone in and out of a case numerous times.

the photo was taken the next day I got the phone though. I use ipad mini (very old version) to take the photo so the resolution is not good. the frame is still shine and new with zero scratches. only sees the discolor under day light. just try to make it clear for everyone to see.
Attached a photo taken today

Definitely not normal for it to happen even if you did take the case on and off numerous times. I've done that and never had that issue happen. Not sure where you live but if you live in a country that does allow a return for a refund or exchange, I'd just go through that. If that happened to mine within my return window, I'd definitely would be returning it and get a new one.

and if taking the phone in and out would cause that why not happen to other side of the phone. just curious.
not to mentioned there is no need to take the phone in and out after you put on the case.
