The brown colour is very disappointing.
I hope for the 17 Pro they try something like a dark green or red. This line of colours looks so bland, and it's honestly one of the reasons why I don't think I'm going to upgrade this year.

I tolerated my iPhone X look at the back with the hideous large camera protruding out. I only updated to 14PM because iOS stopped updating on the iPhone X. With this continuing trend of these humongous oversized hideous camera hunchback, my next phone is when iOS stops updating 14PM. By then the back of the iPhone will look like a jackfruit hanging from a tree LOL

"Shaking up the color palette" and Brown...Inspired! 👍
This year for Apple seems to be one for promise deferment and apologists.
...And the roiling undercurrent of management politics.

kudos to the apologists for muddling on through, and keeping their chins up.

Apple is "shaking up its color palette" for its iPhone 16 lineup this year, according to well-connected Bloomberg reporter Mark Gurman.

According to Gurman, the iPhone 16 Pro models will come in a Gold Titanium to replace Blue Titanium, while the Black, White, and Natural Titanium options that debuted with the iPhone 15 Pro will remain unchanged.

Previous rumors and leaks were apparently accurate about the Pro model colorways, although the Gold Titanium version was previously described as "bronze-like" with a "Desert Titanium" naming convention. Gurman recently said the Gold color "looks impressive and not terrible like the early renders."

Meanwhile, the iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Plus will reportedly come in four colors: Yellow (replacing white) and new shades of green, pink, and blue. Previous leaks and dummy models were apparently only half-accurate, suggesting the iPhone 16 would come in white, black, green, pink, and blue.

Apple will debut the new iPhone 16 lineup at its upcoming "It's Glowtime" event, which is scheduled to begin at 10:00 a.m. Pacific Time on Monday, September 9.

Each time MacRumors uses that picture, comments containing fecal metaphors and hyperboles appear.

I much prefer the Kardashian shade.

Gold Titanium is the new (Microsoft) Zune Brown 🤣

pPhone for "poop" phone 🤦‍♂.

I have the titanium blue right now and it's a nice color, but I only see it when it comes out of the case to be cleaned so really, what's the difference?

But I'm not carrying around the Poop Phone knowing it's the Poop Phone inside the case. It'll be black or gray for me.

These colors are terribly corporate and uninspiring. I don't particularly like them.

This year’s iPhone update feels like the most incremental of incremental updates. Can’t recall a year or year update with these least amount of changes in a very long time.
