new iphone 4 putting contacts on it

hi

i bought new iphone 4 and before connecting it to itunes i said id back up all my contacts, apps, etc from my old i phone to itunes but i accidently hit the replace button on my contacts in the info tab and all my contacts disappeared and iv no numbers any more🙁 is there any way i can restore them on my itunes or undo what i did or something?? please say there is

iv connected my new iphone to itunes see would they transfer but they havnt i still have my apps etc its just my contacts got replaced with nothing its just blank

any help???
