iPhone new iPhone 5s (what are the chances) 7.0.6

I have (had) a jailbroken 5s running 7.0.6. It was damaged and I need to purchase a new phone. What are the chances it will come with 7.0.6 loaded instead of 7.1? Im depressed about losing my jailbreak more than my phone.

if you are buying a new one outright, buy a 64gb or 32gb model if you can afford it. also if you are on sprint, it is wayyyy more likely.

OP, your chances of getting a 7.0.6 is like the raffle. If possible, ask for the oldest one in the stock.

From what people have been posting on this forum (which I know is not necessarily a representative sample), you are more likely to get 7.0.4 than 7.0.6

The real issue, however, is whether you will get 7.0.x that was not updated OTA

I didn't get a 7.0 got stuck with a 7.1. I find this probably the most frustrating part of JBing. Not only do you have to watch what you do with the software but if you need a replacement device you generally get the shaft too. It just sucks.

I recently had to replace a water damaged 5s, the white box replacement I received had 7.0.3 on it.

Still hard to say. We just bought an rMini last week that was 7.0.2.

personally, i would risk it. I'd rather live without jailbreak for a while then live with a hardware problem that could be fixed/replaced for free (assuming you're in the warranty period)
