I feel like I remember them saying these were Ion Strengthened whatever that means, so I figured they would be at least as strong as the 5 series.
 
I like this test a lot better. The way the other drop tester did it was definitely a worst case scenario situation where the phone landed flat in its face when it shattered, but I think real-world drops are going to be more like these. Impressed.

Except for when the 6+ shattered when being dropped on it's side?:rolleyes:
 
They say perfect but you can tell the screen is pulling apart on the slow motion video of that face down drop ....lol
 
That's because he's virtually throwing them down.


No he isn't. He's moving the platform the phone is resting on down faster than the phone is falling. Moot point anyway since the 6+ failed when just released.

Yeah, but all together, there were 6 drops and neither display cracked at all.


That is the indication of a poorly performed test. Without a point of failure there is no reference.
