Wouldn't you like to know?
The commercial isn't on Apple's website yet, but it consists of where the iPhone man "you've gone without email like this in your pocket, internet like this in your pocket, or stock updates like this in your pocket, and you survived, the question is... how?"

I recorded and uploaded it:

New iPhone Ad: 'Like This/All These Years'

Nagooya posted a TV capture of a new iPhone television ad that has not yet appeared on Apple's site.

"All these years, you've gone through the day without email like this in your pocket, or stock updates like this in your pocket, or internet like this in your pocket. And you survived. The question is... how?"

Isn't that false advertising?[/sarcasm] I don't have one, but I was under the impression that if you were surfing on the internet and got a call, it would go straight to voicemail.

Only if you're surfing using EDGE. If on WiFi, you can talk and surf.

It won't automatically go to voicemail - it'll give the option to connect.

the worst of all iPhone ad is the background music
every time i hear it, i feel like i hate the iPhone

I love the iPhone music and I really really love the music to the new iMac commercials if you have seen that yet.

Does anyone find it ironic that every-time Apple shows the iPhone from keynote to commercials to "how to" videos Apple stock is always green, and I think all of there affiliates as well.. GOOG, T, and YHOO.

I guess it is good I have that stock. but it definitely is not green all the time especially not the last few weeks.

Man I wish my iPhone opened attachments that quickly. Everything else I've seen with the ads has been fairly accurate, but my experience is that attachments take a good while to load up.

Love it! As a "golden oldie" who remembers when households had ONE big old black telephone located in a central area of the house and when several households in a neighborhood shared a "party line," the iPhone just tickles me silly. As a "golden oldie" who still remembers the day back in the mid-1980's I sat at my kitchen table connecting to the internet via a Texas Instrument "portable" something-or-other computer, carefully placing our telephone receiver into the machine's acoustic coupler (connecting through a 12-baud modem) before I dialed, thrilled when the text prompts from ELHILL at the National Library of Medicine came up on the screen or text prompts from Dialog (a multi-database service) came up..... I said to my husband, staring at this in wonder, "I've got the whole world at my fingertips!" Indeed I did....and of course things only got better and better....

Fast-forward to afternoon, August 15, 2007: I was with a friend and we got into a conversation about a movie, the name of which she couldn't remember, but she had enough info that I was able to say, "ah, yes, that was a best-selling book before it was a movie,..." neither of us could remember the exact title. I knew the author's name, though. As we were walking into the pharmacy to pick up a prescription for her, I whipped out the iPhone and went into Google....voila! By the time we reached the Pick-Up counter, I had our answer.... Now, how cool is THAT?!

Fast-forward again to the evening of August 15, 2007: Sitting out on my balcony enjoying a warm but pleasant evening, I checked my email, checked out what was going on in a couple of my favorite forums (including this one, of course!), played some of my favorite tunes and enjoyed them without having the hassle of earphones.... At one point I came into the house and retrieved my iPod because I wanted to check something/compare something, and then after that I had the joy of a multimedia experience as I ran a slideshow of my photos on my iPod while enjoying the music coming from my iPhone.

All I can say is that each and every time I use my iPhone I am just totally gobsmacked by it and what it can do.....

Gee - they must have gotten the Stocks images way-back-when.

Love all the iPhone commercials.
