Does a new out of the box iPhone have a full battery charge, or is it wise to let it charge to full before playing with it.

Give it a full charge until the plug symbol appears in the top right.

Out of interest, when did you get your iPhone? There is a new one being announced today.

Getting ready to charge up your new iPhone before the model has been announced? Sheesh, it's hot in here today.

This is of course wild speculation at this point but there's likely to be a quick setup guide included with the next iPhone. There is a strong possibility that this may include information on how best to charge your iPhone when you first unpack it.

Was thinking to myself, yea that was a bit silly :D
