Other New iPhone EU prices: what do you think?

In Spain, the new iPhone 18 Pro 256GB costs almost 1.500€, much more than the previous Pro Max models.

18 Pro Max I believe is 1.619€, close to MacBook Pro 14 territory.

Meanwhile, iPhone 17 256GB now costs more than 1.000€, iPhone 17e 800€, etc.

If RAM prices keep going up, this is going to be insane (it already is).

In Europe, I believe people are more price sensitive than in US, due to lower incomes.

The "sad" thing is that people will still buy it, because many iPhone users are "stuck" in the ecosystem, with family and friends owning iPhones, iCloud for photos, app purchases in the App Store, Magsafe accessories bought in the past, etc.

What do I think? I think you should keep your perfectly good phone and forget about the new ones. Consumer lust is a disease that will ravage your finances and your future.

Your future self won't give a **** about an iPhone 18, but it will care about the money you save and let compound right now.

I think that my iPhone can last 5 or 6 years. Might need a new battery at half time but that's fine.
