New iphone every year for reg pricing

If you are the family plan main person, are you eligible to upgrade every year?

they've given me a early upgrade every yr, i am the main holder...not sure if that really is the reason...i think cause after a yr they put in a early upgrade.
this is gonna be my 4th iphone.

I believe the main holder on the account has yearly upgrades if their line they are using exceeds $100 a month before taxes. Someone correct me if I am wrong.
