Wanted to check in for some thoughts. Every year I face the dilemma of either setting up the new phone as a new phone, basically starting from clean slate, downloading apps again, etc. Or do it through an iCloud back up. In the past I always set up as new phone, mainly due to the storage size and the fact that it gave me an opportunity to clean all the photos (download to my computer) and download again only the apps I need. Now with the storage size of the x I got 256G, I can easily keep all the photos from my 7 and keep using the x. Is there any downside to setting up the X from iCloud back up?
