You just bought AppleCare+ for your nice and shiny iPhone 12

Of course not, I don’t mind scratches and all the wearing and tearing. I mind about having to pay more than 400 € if I break my phone which I always do.

I always get AppleCare+ to cover physical damage cases if it happens. Not putting the iPhone 12 Pro Max in a case this year, instead going to use XtremeSkins clear matte film on the back and clear glossy film on the sides. Glass screen protector on the front.

Anyone know if screen protectors for iPhone 12 pro/Max go closer to the edge of the device? Now that the design in flat I would have thought they would suit better then what they did on the 11 design? Anyone able to confirm who has a 12 pro?
Thanks

Is it noticeably cheaper to buy apple care + a screen rather than directly go and replace the screen without apple care?
I checked the price of let's say a iphone 12 pro repair. AppleCare+ will cost $198,96 over 2 years+ $29 for a screen damage. = 227
A regular screen change is $ 279
Assuming that you take care of your phone, you will probably not use this service at all.
I guess it could also include a battery replacement for cheap, but then if you don't break your screen, you will still come out losing money in this product.
Insurance is the biggest scam ever lol... that's how they make money.
the screen change for non AppleCare + is close to $329 plus tax. I'll take AppleCare+. I've cracked two screens in a row lol (8 plus and XS plus). Not to mention potential rear glass breaking is $599!!!

The front of course is stronger but the rear isn't.
