I have iPhone XS bought on 2019 and I would like new one on next September.
What do you think ? It's good Time to buy new model because I read it will arrive 18 version.
What model should I buy ?

It's reported that only the Pro models will be released this Autumn with the standard 18 being released next Spring sometime.

If you're coming from a XS, I personally would just get a base level 17 - the difference will be night and day!
You forgot the foldable this September.

Op: to recommend something, one has to give a few boundaries. Budget, what u wanna do, what is your preference? E.g. battery life over weight or screen size and so on.

Its like asking what BMW model do you recommend. It depends 😉
If u are single i wouldn’t recommend a 7 seater

I'm talking about new device on September 2026
Depends on what you are after I guess. If you can get a good deal on a iPhone 17 today it will feel like a substantial update to the XS that you have. The Pro models are a bit bulkier and since the XS is small maybe the 17 will be as close as you can get is size is important.

I'm looking for small screen, best battery life, good photos... and other 7 years ! 😄
I thought iPhone 17 prices would drop with the release of the model 18 Pro

Well than the normal iphone 17 or pro if u want to have the tele lens.
The max models would give extra 20% battery life. But feel huge over XS.

Regarding the recent price increase by Apple, it wont be as cheap as the years before. But 3rd party resellers usually give 100$ or more discounts after the release of 18.
I usually buy used iphones with warranty to save money. The 16 pro or even 15 pro are still very good phones. Each year the battery and camera is a bit better. so in the end it’s how important camera is for you and what is your price limit.
