ok so i kno ppl have been wondering as i have, im with rogers wireless and have a iphone 3G, and when the new iphone comes out this summer am i gunna be able to upgrade mine for dirt cheap to the new one since it has not even been a year since the old one. sinply cause its not our fault the put oiut a **** phone that they thought was good but noticed it sucked so the had not other choice but make a new one, so is a free upgrade or 100 upgrade possible

no, most people that can early upgrade have had the phone for 18 months at least

not being rude, but i really have no idea what you just said.
But i doubt you'll be able to upgrade for cheap.
 
You won't be able to upgrade because the phone was sold at a subsidized price.
You should know that a new iPhone will come out every year just as a new iPod comes out every year.

So tell us how u really feel about the iphone... :eek: ;) Did your fone company have a 30 day return policy so u could return the fone if u did not like it? :confused:

I emailed Rogers a couple weeks ago, and they said:

"Rogers wireless does not sell the iPhone individually or outright, an
iPhone can only purchased with a 3 year term or contract. You can
upgrade your current iPhone after 12 months of being active with us at
which point you will receive a discount on the Hardware upgrade,
unfortunately Hardware upgrades are not free."
