It's your fault not Apple's. You chose to PURCHASE the iPhone.

You won't be able to upgrade because the phone was sold at a subsidized price.
You should know that a new iPhone will come out every year just as a new iPod comes out every year.

Ditto, When Apple comes out with a Macbook and you buy it and a year later they make a new one. Who's fault is it?

I emailed Rogers a couple weeks ago, and they said:

"Rogers wireless does not sell the iPhone individually or outright, an
iPhone can only purchased with a 3 year term or contract. You can
upgrade your current iPhone after 12 months of being active with us at
which point you will receive a discount on the Hardware upgrade,
unfortunately Hardware upgrades are not free."
