Just watched the new ad on Apple (http://www.apple.com/ipod/ads/). I didn't like it. I don't want live u2 w/ bono singing off pitch in my iPod commercials. I want catchy pop music playing over a simple background w/ one focus. U2 is half the commercial. Then the music cuts out awkardly. Crap.

On top of that, the video looks pasted on. It probably isn't... I think it's an illusion brought upon by the shape of the iPod...but still. It looks bad.

One last thing then I'm done:
Is it just me? or does the back look curved in? It might just be my eyes playing tricks (I'm used to looking at a FAT 60).

I could think of several (hundred) music videos that would have served the purpose better. I suppose Apple has some sort of obligations to U2 to fulfill.

They gave them a whole freaking iPod dedicated to them. I think that's enough.

I'm just glad the pink madonna special edition rumour didn't materialise today, just imagine the ads if it had have done.
