yay ipod games... fat lot of good that does the owner of an iPod photo 60gig and an iPhone... i still dont understand why these can't be on all models:mad:

An iPod photo can't even play VIDEO. It's not the same hardware, it just doesn't have the juice to handle games like these.

This is a step in the right direction, more games needed period. Maybe, someone at apple is finally getting it. I want to see in the next 6 months games for the touch and iphone. Wake up apple, a digital lifestyle is not only music, movies, and messaging but also games.

My girlfriend wont buy me games for xmas, so I'll have to buy myself Bomberman and Sonic as a present for myself.... After all it is the season for giving.

I have a 20hour battery on my 3G, and the navigation system is way better than the horrible click wheel...just because most of the new versions beat the old ones, there are advantages to the monochrome models, firewire for one...

Can you say... Luddite

Just kidding

:D

All I have to say is that Peggle is a fantastic game! I haven't had that much fun playing a game in a looooong time. The sheer amount of suspense and lucky shots in this game is unreal. It literally had me laughing out loud with anticipppation (and still does).

Maybe, but I prefer the touch UI to all others, so maybe I'm a futurist...

Yeah, I really enjoyed playing with the iPod Touch at the Apple store. It's an astounding little toy.

I want at least 32GB (preferably 64GB) before I plunk down $400.

So I'm a futurist too!

I'm gonna buy Peggle!

So how long until someone brings their iPod on a plane trip and a TSA agent just happens to see the word "bomberman" on the screen and then irrationally flips out, clearing the terminal?

I don't fly so much anymore, but I used to play Boom on planes on my old G3 Powerbook. I have to admit that very thought crossed my mind a few times. That was around 2003-2005 when flying down to your fine country was something you made sure you wore clean underwear for. But Boom never seemed to bother anyone.

My girlfriend wont buy me games for xmas...

Kinda like how I refused to buy my sister's ex any kind of alcohol for Xmas  Just a nice safe gift card for stores that sell work clothes, with "Git a job, Rummy" written in the card :D

But that's less of a problem for him now that he's a guest of the Queen.

Apple has released 2 new iPod games, Peggle and Bomberman.

Bomberman is great, and I don't suggest Peggle.. I suggest you get Bomberman and Sonic The Hedgehog. But I don't know, that's my VERY strong opinion.

:apple:

Check out iPodLinux, it allows video on the iPod Photo (and others for that matter) :)

YES! I agree with psychofreak - this is a great "hack" and so many people with old skool :apple: iPod photos have used linux. iPod photo is the most recent iPod that can take Linux. Any iPod after the iPod Photo cannot use Linux. iPod Photo is the one that can take the most "hacks".

:apple:

My kids bought Bomberman and Peggle for their iPod Nanos. They hardly touched Bomberman, but they have been jamming on Peggle for the past week. I guess that means Peggle gets high marks from the Tween crowd.

...I am also waiting for iPhone games. :(

i decided to get peggle after ilounges review, and i am glad i did.
i do love phase the most though ((a whopping 43 plays) i got my ipod on christmas!)
