Sync your new iPod with your iTunes library.

As posted. If you do not have iTunes, download the correct version for your platform (Windows OSX, etc.) Once you have done this, you will need to create a library of music if you do not have one at present.

You can either rip CD's into iTunes, or import music from an existing library on a PC.

Once done, connect your new device via the USB cable and sync the content you want to your new device.
