    Some may argue wether the new iPod nano is a useful new gadget which combines all iPod or if it's redundant since:
    Small -> iPod Shuffle
    Capacity -> iPod Classic
    Touchscreen -> Touch

    Still it's a nice and risky new idea from Apple, but is it really worth to switch from an iPod Shuffle 2G user to the nano or just upgrade to the "new" Shuffle.

    iPod Shuffle

    + Cheap
    + can be used "blind"
    + Clip
    +/- "only" 2GB, what's enough for a gadget without screen
    - nothing really new -> Shuffle 2G (yes, it has polished alu)
    - no display
    - uses 3 pole jack for file transfer and charging (no playing while charging)

    iPod Nano

    + something completely new
    + clip
    + touchscreen display
    + 8GB/16GB
    + still uses normal Apple connector rather than audio jack like shuffle
    +/- just like a shuffle but with a touchscreen display
    - no video playback
    - no camera (who used it anyway on the nano)
    - expensive for just a shuffle + touchscreen

    What do you think guys?

    Yeah, it lost its camera!! I only have a 2g Nano, but I LOVE it. I hate using my iPhone as an iPod, cause I can't use it blind. I HATE THAT! ugh.

    on the other hand, since it has a clip the touchscreen isn't really such a bad idea. But paying $100 bucks more to add an touchscreen to your ipod shuffle - don't really see the price for value yet.

    I too think that the iPod nano has become useless. It was amazing when it was released. But then Apple added dumb features that weren't needed on a small mp3 player. Now that those features are on the iPod touch (camera for instance), the iPod nano hasn't a great purpose anymore.

    Honestly, I'm so buying the iPod shuffle. I always listen to all my music collection in a random way already and I want buttons. So, I think that the new iPod shuffle is simply perfect.

    With built in Nike+ and a clip, I'll get my wife one to replace her 2G Nano that still uses a Nike+ dongle.

    I don't understand why theres only a 2 gig shuffle. Would be more useful to have a 4 gig one.
