Walked into the Apple store this morning, (my birthday) saw and liked the red, but gold is more my style. Plus I have a green Xperia Z3 Compact and a blue Meizu M1 Note - red just wouldn't fit.

I always went with the black bezel but this time I bought the gold. I highly recommend getting the gold unless you plan on covering the back with a case.

I used to get excited about what color to get, but realized that most covers used to protect the device will hide the color of the device. Although, I did go with the blue one :)

Gold, no case for it unless I feel it needs one on occasion.

What a looker! No other Touchs came in that color, the specs are great and $199 is reasonable.

Virtually all of the reviews on the 6th gen Touch on YouTube use a gold one. I think that I just have to get over the white bezel thing. :)
 
I think I've pretty much settled on the gold. I'm going to pick it up tomorrow. I've got a few cases left from when I had my 5th gen but I think I'm going to go caseless and keep it in this pouch

swung by another apple store today to grab another silver 64GB, this time hoping for no defects and it was a success. Love it, so fast and smooth, got a nice fresh power support crystal film today also in the mail and put that on and put the phone in my power support air jacket that i had for my 5G.

life is good

EDIT: Pink looked freaking amazing, the space gray looked great, but the blue looked ultra dull and depressing to me. Just my unpopular opinion

I'm getting mine today. I think it's going to be the gold but I love pink things. I'll see which one grabs me when I go to the store.
 
Space Gray it's the only one with a black front which looks cooler than white. Second fav is gold of course. I always put a skin on the back to prevent scratches

My only functional criteria was to avoid black, as if it fell underneath my car seat, it would be the most difficult amongst all of the colors to spot.

It is. I once sent my 5G black FLYING when I pulled a dark bed cover. Got a nasty dent. :eek:
 
I like the Gold, even though I'm not buying one. At least not for myself as I'm using an iPhone instead. I will be upgrading the two 5th Gens used by my daughters when it's time they needed to upgrade tho.

I like the small touches on the Gold - the Home button, the lens ring, the Lightning port, just those minor details. Apple probably could've even charged a premium!
 
After having been able to see them in person, I'm definitely going with the gold.

I would get Space Gray simply became of the black face. I really dislike white face fronts on electronics and Apple seems to think that anything that isn't a shade of gray needs a white face. That blue is sharp. So sharp that I might have considered a blue Nano if it had a black face front.
