Todays release has killed my iPod Touch.

Fault says iTunes has detected an iPod in recovery mode. You must restore this iPod before it can be used with iTunes.

    OK
    "Extracting software"

The ipod"iPod" could not be restored. An unknown error (2001)

the Touch screen shows the iTunes icon with the cable icon?

    Help
