I got a new iPod nano for my b-day (v-day). I got the 1gb nano. I just wanted to tell the people that it does NOT have a pinkish display, and I like that it is a lot faster at loading everything than even my iPod (video) 30gb.

i thought the pinkish hue thing was an issue with some of the 23 inch cinema displays only. (and the newer aluminum ones at that) :confused: never heard of that with an iPod, but i admittedly don't know much. :p

Nothing beats an ice-cold Co'Cola in a GLASS bottle... and some Lance cheese-nabs to go with it. (You know, those orange crackers with peanut butter in between them.)

Pepsi = ewwwwww... ;)

OK, enough thread hijacking.

The original iLounge article (site not working for me right now) stated that the 1GB nano screen had a pink cast to it, in contrast to the blue cast of all other iPods. There was speculation as to whether is was a bad unit or if it was true of all 1GB units...looks like they may have just had a bad unit.

That's because it uses flash memory rather than a physical hard drive.

That's good that there's no pinkish hue. I've been thinking about getting a 1gig nano for exercising, I didn't know about the hue until now. Interesting.
