WA_hoo!Just scored a 9.7" IPP from the refurb store! I'm stoked! ,Wife has an Air, but this is MUCH cooler!

Now just drop

$99 on Apple Pencil
$170 on Smart Keyboard and
$99 on 2 years of AppleCare

We all did it. You're only half Pro until you get the accessories.

And then there's me on my iPad mini 4
I have the silicone case and Smart Cover, almost got a keyboard case, but I realized I didn't need it.
No AppleCare either.
And of course, no support for Apple Pencil :(

I don't think I need the pencil. But a cover sounds like a bugger bear.

What I did was return the Smart Keyboard since it's not backlit.

Get the Logitech Create Keyboard case for the 9.7 Pro it's $60 dollars less than the Apple Smart Keyboard designed with Apple and uses the Smart Connector. And has better keys and Protects the iPad Fully so no need for a $50 silicon back.

Sorry the video it's in German but it's so new no one has done such. Good video showing it off.

I have both the ASK and the Logi Create keyboard for my 12.9 Pro. I use the ASK much more. Its adaptability suits my needs. In addition, the Logi Create doesn't lean back as far as the ASK. There is a big enough difference for my lap usage. Lastly, when all I want to do is stream videos, tha ASK can fold up behind the Pro, thus having a smaller footprint.

And you get to chose if you want a back case or not with the ASK
Oh, and it doesn't scratch your screen either, as I remember reading somewhere on MR about the Create...

Looked at the refurbished prices and I think they're over-priced. $919 when you can get a brand new one on EBay for $800? Even if you didn't trust the eBay ones you can add Apple Care + and still be under the cost of a refurbished unit.
