new iTunes issues

Newest version of iTunes (Oct 13) keeps locking up with SBBOD requiring force quit. I think it is related to accessing iTunes, but it locks up so fast, I ca't really tell. No problems with internet access.

It just won't run at all after newest update. Any advice? Running Lion.

Have you used Disk Utility to repair permissions?

Usually helps with general weirdness.

Thanks, sober brain. Yes, that's the first thing I did and it didn't help at all.

Very disappointing because this is a brand new 27" iMac that came preinstalled with lion. My old 24" never had this type of issue.
