How do you feel about the controversial new iTunes logo?

While this is not directly iPhone related, I'm posting it here because it's one of the most popular forums on Macrumors and thus should give the broadest (and most accurate) response.

WHAT controversy?

It is ok. Nothing to get too excited over however. If you don't like it, I'm sure you can replace it with the old one or find another one online.

Seems too plain, i guess im the type of person that likes "WOW" icons

I don't care either way. Why didn't they just use the iPhone/Pad iTunes app as the logo. It'd show uniformity with all the devices.

I like it, though it still doesn't represent what the program does, considering it's an audio player, video library and store. I still think it's a terribly crap program.

Neutral. Not used to it yet so I'm not sure how I feel about it. I'm sure it'll grow on me. Just a little confused for when I open iTunes I try and look for the old icon.

It is better? :D

It's just an icon but it doesn't really match with all the other icons in the dock...

It's fine, other than not fitting in color wise with the rest of the stock OSX icons. What REALLY sucks is how they did the "stop lights" on the OSX version. WTF apple. Way to break continuity with the rest of the OS.

Yes, I know they were vertical already in the mini player, but it looks terrible on a full sized window.

purrty

I would have to agree with some others, it doesn't really match the other icons in my os dock.

But I can see where marketing is going with the concept that iTunes is moving past just music (hence a departure from the classic CD and tune logo) but to something more all-encompassing (represented by the the shape of the entire icon itself).

Takes some getting used to but that blue is pretty mesmerizing!
