I dislike it. I don't think it blends/ matches with the other icons.

However, I'm too lazy to change it so I guess it doesn't bother me too much.

The vibrant blue puts it more in line with the iwork and ilife icons, but now has a very sharp contrast with the ichat and mail icons.

Its pretty good looking. Who cares if it is amateur or simple, its just an icon.

What I am more worried about is the traffic lights. Why in the world would they make them vertical. I changed it already, but it’s just ugly and ridiculous.

iTunes 10 starts in one bounce when you change the traffic lights. It’s great!
Way better than 5-6 bounces with the old iTunes.
