I have started to fill out the application form, but have got stuck on something...

Seriously? You want the job, you can write your own statement of interest. If you can't think of anything maybe you don't really want it.

What position did you hold at wackarnolds? If you were just some line worker there to be honest I don't think you would be qualified for this position.

Why not try to move up in McDonalds? There's always plenty of career opportunities within restaurant chains if you show some interest.

The application tells you all you need to know!

None of us can really help you with something like this!

In your description, make sure you are demonstrating that you meet the essential criteria for the job, and make sure you are ticking as many as possible of the desirables. Good luck.

I would probably talk about how my knowledge, skills and experience meet each of the essential requirements of the job by giving examples from recent paid employment, voluntary work, family experiences and leisure activities.
