I really am not a big fan of kiss, but as with every tuesday I check out whats new on iTunes, the new Kiss Album,Alive! was only a 1.49 for the album, it has 70 songs!!!, I checked my recipt onto my CC and sure enough only 1.55 was charged, Apple made a huge mistake!!!!

Sold! ;)

There was a site that collected all of these kinds of apparent pricing mistakes or other bargains on iTunes, but I lost the URL. Anyone know what I'm talking about?

holy smokes, downloading now :D
what happens when apple finds out... will they charge us the real price

US store still has it listed for 1.49. The Canada store has it listed for $36.99. Unfortunately, I only have an account for the Canadian store, otherwise I would have made my first official iTS purchase.

Obvious pricing mistake. Would Apple honour it?

Excellent...nice find. I'm downloading now. Took a screenshot in case Apple tries to tell charge me something else.

I'm not a big Kiss fan, but it's hard to turn down 2 cents per song.

Same here... I figure out of 70 songs I should be able to find a couple of tasty samples to play around with in my DJ mixes.

Thanks for the heads up.

[EDIT: Yup, just as I thought... some of the "patter" between songs is classic: "Every time we do this one, the place lights up just like a damn Christmas tree." LOL. That's opening my next Christmas mix for sure.]

Im not a big fan off Kiss, but im really tempted to buy this! Its still showing $1.49. Whats the chance apple will charge me the real $36 after they realize the mistake. I dont want to get slapped with a $30 + bill later.....

just in case, save a pic of it(for windows users, ctrl-v, then go to paint, and do that again on the paint file, and save it, i have no idea for mac user)

EDIT:

Here is how you do it for windows..

use the print screen Sys Rq button(the button nearly above numlock button) and then g to paint and use ctrl-v

Off topic, Apple-Shift-3 saves a copy of the screen as an image file on the desktop. Ctrl-Apple-Shift-3 copies the desktop to the clipboard. Apple-shift-4 allows you to select a rectangle. And so on.

I think it's unlikely Apple will upcharge customers (my credit card website also reads a $1.53 temp auth). It's slightly more possible they will de-authorize the songs automatically and issue automated refunds, but that's pretty unlikely too... usually if it gets as far as you actually walking out the door with the product at the incorrect price, they live and learn.

Just bought it...wonder how long it will be before they catch their mistake.

Damn, it says it is "no longer available" they must have figured it out. *****!
