Mine still seems to be authorized... It's a weird box set, though. A lot of the songs repeat several times from album to album.

I guess the set collects Kiss' "Alive" albums I, II, and III, which are all available seperately on iTunes for $10 each. It does seem strange that they couldn't come up with three different sets for their three live albums... but when you only have a handful of recognizable songs, you're pretty much stuck playing them at every concert.

Got in on this earlier today. Still waiting on my iTunes receipt to confirm I got such a good deal on it. Thanks to the OP for the heads up.

Yes, this is a four-disc set of from four separate live gigs...1975, 1977, 1993, and 1999. The first three have been available for a long time now...their legendary Alive!, Alive II, and Alive III. The fourth was supposed to be released as Alive IV, but was instead folded into this release.

apple updated it its now 39.96
i never got an email receipt

You can check your purchase history by clicking your account name in the upper right of the iTunes window and logging in.

So, no one knows where the iTunes bargain site is? I previously found a Kronos Quartet album there similrly mispriced. $1.99 instead of $11.99.

WildCowboy, thank you for explaining. I'm clearly not that big a KISS fan. :D But I did recognize some of the songs and I'm enjoying it.

P.S. I got my receipt e-mail just now... $1.49 indeed. :) Thank you, Apple! :)

It appears that the songs are still authorized and working this morning. CC still shows $1.50 (fingers crossed). iTunes music store now lists the album at $39.96.

EDIT: Sorry for the repeat info, my browser pulled up a cached version. :)
