I want to upgrade my hard drive, but I think I'll wait for the 7200RPM 160GB.
Yep, should work fine.
In other news SuperTalent just announced their 64GB 2.5" drive, and strangely, a 128MB 3.5" drive.

Hmm, based on reviews of Seagate's current perpendicular recording 2.5" offering, I'd steer clear. Check out the reviews at NewEgg: http://www.newegg.com/Product/CustratingReview.asp?Item=N82E16822148073
Their non-perpendicular drive of the same capacity and rotational speed does much better in customer reviews.
And to add my own purely anecdotal evidence, I've already had two Seagate drives go bad in my Macbook. I'm currently on my third, all replaced under warranty by Apple. Based on this alone, if I ever replace the drive, I'm probably going with a different brand. And I always thought Seagate had a good reputation... 😱

If Super Talent isn't just blowing smoke, they've got me listening. Here's the post from Engadget about what Super Talent plans to roll out:
The always confident in itself Super Talent has announced new batch of solid state SATA drives, coming in the usual 1.8-inch, 2.5-inch, and 3.5-inch form factors, and ranging in size from 4GB to 128GB. Broken down, the petite 1.8-inch drives will give you between 4GB and 32GB of storage, while going up to the 2.5-inch model will give you a bit of extra breathing room, ranging in size from 8GB to 64GB. The real expansiveness, however, comes when you step things up to the 3.5-inch drives, which start at 64GB and go all the way to 128GB, although that's slightly less impressive than A-DATA's SSD drives, which manage to cram those same 128 gigabytes into a 2.5-inch form factor. Unfortunately, there's no word on pricing just yet, but it looks like we should know soon enough, with the drives set to roll out sometime next month.
Sounds good to me. I could do 64GB. They just need to get these things out the door.

Wow, that drive does have horrible reviews. Generally perpendicular drives are better performers (and store more data per plate). Maybe that particular drive just had a plethora of problems. My 7200.1 series Seagate drive has performed flawlessly in my MBP for about a year now.
