New Laptop HELP!!!

Im sure this is on here already. I just bought a new macbook pro. I have a 24" imac. I would like to put everything I have on that imac onto the macbook pro.

The best way to do this is? itunes,iphoto everything?

1. Copy everything to external HD
2. Use wireless network to share files
3. Use ethernet cable

Or just use Migration Assistant as others said, I forgot it
