New Late 2016 MacBook Pro - Memory upgrade question

My local Apple Store has a 13" Late 2016 MacBook Pro in stock and I'm thinking about going to buy it.

The main thing I want to change about the laptop though is the RAM. 8GB just seems small... I want 16GB. Can that upgrade be done in-store? Or is the memory soldered to the motherboard now?

Both ram and ssd are soldered to the motherboard so you can't upgrade later

Memory option cant be configured in any MBP model

Unless you will be doing heavy load work (as in rendering and editing video, working with technical programs etc) on a regular basis, 16 GB of RAM will probably be buying overkill. OS X is much more efficient than Windows.
