Exactly. They blend a lot of software update into new products introduction. Some new features they mentioned today for iPhone, Apple Watch, AirPods also comes to older devices.

I hope it does roll out to the Beats range (in _and_ over the ear) as well as the AirPods Max. It's possible that people will be wearing over the ear headphones (say, at an airport or train station) and need to be able to listen in on announcements, etc.

Will be a very useful feature. However would like to see more languages being supported. Hopefully that will happen soon.

I feel like this is kinda like the Vision Pro calls were they use your avatar instead of video. It’s kinda cool that it’s possible but also really uncanny. I guess down the line it might be super smooth and quick and non robotic sounding.
For everything else we used Google translate for years.

IMO deepl is way better than google translate. ChatGPT is even better than deepl (most of the time)

The U.S. market is their biggest market, and they’re translating the languages used most. If they waited to roll it out worldwide, it would take much longer to develop, and any issues found during release would be exponentially worse and harder to fix on that scale.
