May I ask why? Based on what you have read, many people are having the same issue right?

It's not the M1, it's macOS. Plenty of reports of this with Intel machines, and machines running Mojave as well as Big Sur.

I read yesterday (can't find it now) that macOS has always done this, and it has never caused any issues. Could just be forum amplification of an unimportant finding.

May I ask why? Based on what you have read, many people are having the same issue right?

Its a software bug that will be fixed.
