Set up new M2 Air tonight with Migration Assistant connected by cable - all went ok apart form a bluetooth message but working OK and then had to update OSX to 12.5.1 from 12.5 on M2 (Old M1 was 12.5.1)
Alll working but on checking I see Mac HD date on M2 is same as Old M1 one - March 2021 and not 2022 which is wen I set it up - ? any way to change this to current date - probably not important but the OCD is annoying me

I don't know how you could change it, but I'd say don't worry about it (if that's of any value).

Thanks spoke with Apple Tech help today and they said same it’s because I did the set up form older M1 MBA before I had fully set up new M2 MBA - if I’d set up M2 fully then did the Migration Assistan5 it would have shown date of disc creation as yesterday not March 2021

Strange...I did the same. I got new M1 pro 14" on August 14, 2022. I did Migration Assistant on the same day, from M1 air to a new M1 Pro 14". My M1 Pro HD is shown date disc creation and modified August 10, 2022.
