    Hi all!

I took the plunge, and decided to ditch my Dell desktop. I ordered the base MacBook Pro 15.4" 2.4GHz after several days of research. Even though, I will mostly do basic stuff, I prefer having the large screen as opposed to the MacBook. I also like having the flexibility to use more intensive applications, should I need to.

This MBP should serve me well for quite some time. I am looking forward to learning from these forums, as I am a complete novice to Apple products.

    I can't wait until tomorrow! :)

You're stoked. The MBP is such a sweet machine. Good choice!

same thing I did back in October/November, you will not only not regret this, but you will ask yourself how could you NOT have a mac for all these years... at least that's been my experience. Congratulations!

Amazon's overnight shipping for $3.99, and no sales tax. :D

LOL!! I know the feeling! :D

I omitted to add that Amazon also has a $150 rebate on the MBP.
