How does the current base model mac mini run 1 GB handle running lite applications simultaneously? (word, web, itunes, iphoto). I'd really like to avoid paying an additional $200 for an extra 1 GB if I don't really need it. (And no, I personally would never manually upgrade the RAM myself or ask someone to do so). The most intensive thing I'd be doing all at once would be running 4 or 5 tabs in firefox, having iphoto open, itunes playing music, and a word document open). Am I looking at a future of many spinning beach balls or smooth sailing?
