M MevetS Cancelled Dec 27, 2018 374 303 Dec 6, 2020 #6 There is a similar thread here: https://forums.macrumors.com/threads/enter-screen-saver-cant-get-out.2273658/ I too have had this issue. In my case the screen saver is running, the cursor moves in response to my using the trackpad, and music continues to play. It has occurred twice. Pressing the power button on the Mini acts like smelling salts for the Mini, and I can log in. I too am using an Intel mini, 2018, and running the latest Catalina 10.15.7.
