It is launch day for the new Mac mini, iMac, and MacBook Pro in the U.S., and same-day pickup is now available at many Apple Store locations across the country. The same is true for many other countries around the world.

To order a product with Apple Store pickup, add the product to your bag on Apple.com, proceed to checkout, select the "I'll pick it up" option, enter your ZIP code, choose an available Apple Store location, and select a pickup date. Payment is completed online, and a valid government-issued photo ID and the order number may be required upon pickup.

Same-day Apple Store pickup is not available for custom Mac configurations with upgraded specifications ordered through Apple's online store.

As we recently reported, Apple's extended return policy is now in effect for the holiday shopping season. If you purchase a new Mac from Apple between today and December 25, it is eligible for return until January 8 in the U.S. and many other countries.

I ordered a custom config the day they were announced and was given a delivery date of Nov. 19. Then I got a notification from Apple saying it would arrive Nov. 15, and now UPS is saying it will arrive on Nov. 11. Yay!

I want to update my iMac 2017. I wanted to do it with a 27" or more iMac but I wonder if I should give up and get a mini. I have seen people convert these iMacs into a monitor. I feel bad doing that but it would make a nice 5k screen for a mini if I went that route.

If there was a 1TB model available ready-to-go in store I’d probably pick one up on the way home.

Edu pricing makes this new base model M4 Mac mini super tempting. Not sure I can keep my hands off one for much longer.

edit: The weather isn't playing nice today but I might make a run to the Apple Store this weekend to get one.

I ordered a custom configuration (M4 Max) for pickup on the Friday the 8th, which is today, at the nearby Apple store. The store is already open, but my customized MacBook Pro is still not showing up as ready for pickup. It's still showing as "on the way" to the Apple store. :(

Got mine in, M4 Max BUT ..... it's MISSING the lovely Apple stickers in the package !!!!!! did Apple decide not to include the small Apple logo sticker in all their products? comeon...

Are you crazy? Each sticker costs like .04¢ to make. Shareholders need to feed their families. ;)

Given problems with UPS and issues with porch pirates in general, I find the in-store pick ups to be bit of a blessing
I work from home and my Corso is a great UPS alerter ;-). I'm tempted to set it up now, but gotta wait until after work.

Meh, i never bothered with the stickers. Glad they stopped including them. Two less things to throw away.

Wow. You guys are hard core with the 1tb and 24gb mac mini pro

I just order the basic. 16/256gb m4. $499. I treat it as a 1-2 year rental and trade it inn.

My photos library is over 300GB by itself, that would fill over two thirds of the 512GB storage right away.
