New Mac Mini RAM?

    Yes. They are the same processors, so the same RAM will work (Memory controller is built into the processor).

    Apple store says "up to 16GB", but I'm guessing it's only because they sell 8GB sticks. Can it go up to 32GB with 3rd party 16GB sticks?

    Do we know for sure the ram isn't soldered in? Just asking...

    First, the memory is not soldered in. Second, the new Ivy bridge processors support 32gb so yes, it is possible.

    The Apple website shows the RAM as being user-upgradable.

    Thank god! Then 4GB for me please, not paying €300 for 16GB. :cool:
