Wondering what the new memory speed will be in the new Mac Pro's? I have read over that its getting a different motherboard so I thought someone might know the specifics of the board. Just found a killer deal on some ram online, seems to be a mistake, but 16GB of certified ram (8, 2GB) for 194 shipped :D I will post a link if it goes through tomorrow, I doubt it but we'll see. (cart and invoice show $194)

went through a certain ad to get the $194 (will share if it goes though)

*edit*
Since its all intel hardware it should work anway, just running at a slower speed right? my DDR333 works great in my DDR400 pc mobo

Why does it say 'Price $1399.99' on the bottom?

that's a pretty big difference from $194

Yea I just received an email stating that the $194 was a typo (as I assumed) but they would not give it to me for that price. I'm not that good at arguing over email, but I mean how can you get them to take off $1200 ??? don't think it will happen.

There discount price when going through the advert picture was $879, though their regular mac-pro ram is like $699 for 16GB, still not a bad deal.

However I will be getting there 4GB (2x2GB) for $179 (real price lol) after the new mac-pro's come out, hopefully they will use the same ram.
