I looked at Little Snitch a couple of weeks ago and nearly choked on the $50US price. Looks awesome, but I ended up with Radio Silence for $9 instead and works perfectly and is okay to install on all your personal devices. I believe there are some free open source options as well.

With spyware like TikTok openly distributed in "walled gardens" the biggest risk is complacency.
I was making the point that a "legit" app doesn't mean it's secure or can't be compromised.
