Apple is claiming that they're getting 3GB/sec from their ssd's in the new 15" MBP. Is that with all sizes? Or, will the 2TB have the fastest IO, while the 512 and 1TB models have the slower speed IO?

I wonder what the difference between the iMac 5k 27" 512 SSD and the new MBP 15" 512 SSD is.

Directly from the footnotes on performance.
Testing conducted by Apple in October 2016 using preproduction 3.3GHz dual-core Intel Core i7-based 13-inch MacBook Pro systems and shipping 3.1GHz dual-core Intel Core i7-based 13-inch MacBook Pro units. All systems configured with a 512GB SSD and 16GB of RAM. Tested with FIO-2.14, 1024KB request size, 150GB test file and IO depth=8. MacBook Pro continuously monitors system thermal and power conditions, and may adjust performance as needed to maintain optimal system operation.
