New MAC User - Can't stream radio?

    Some streaming radio stations stream in a codec known as Windows Media 8, Flip4Mac does not support the Windows Media 8 codec so you may find this to be the cause. I can't be 100% sure however since I've not checked what codec the station you posted is using.

    Cant'find the FLV player, even on that site, it links me do the MAC version on download.com that doesnt exist...

    anyone got the link?

    Must be the site then...VLC eats everything I throw at it.

    well, the site streams radio.... and I do have VLC..but that's a video player right? Use it to open a file?

    How does VLC help me with websites that stream radio?

    If you open the new version of VLC it has a drag and drop window (See settings) you can also set it as the default player...It does audio as well as video, or it should...Check for updates..:)
