New Macbook Air

With the new macbook air so close in price to the bottom end macBook pro and macBook as well, I'm really not sure what to go for. I'm more itnerested in getting bang for my buck than thinness (or the touch login) - as the processors are different architectures, I'm not sure how to judge between them - same for the graphics cards really. I suspect that the choice will be between the Air and the Pro. Any suggestions?

Sure, but how different are the CPU and graphics cards in these?

I am also thinking the same thing as i am on a budget.. could either the new MBA or base MBP do light 4k 60fps video editing? I could sacrifice the thin/lighter issue if the slight bump in processing power could help me with this task.
