new macbook and firewire

I have a new macbook and an older camcorder that requires a firewire. What is the best way to connect the two. Do I need to buy a firewire card? If so, does anyone have recommendations?

If you HAVE to connect via FW you'd have to return the Al macbook and buy the updated white MB =\
