So that's it. Just got my brand new macbook and it's perfect other than mooing sometimes. However I noticed that the battery does not charge until the charge drops below 95% If I plug in the adapter at say 96 or 97% it just says that the battery is fully charged. When I plug in the adapter at 94% battery life then it picks up and charges it to full.

What do you guys think? Should I declare it DoA??

I tried re-calibrating the battery and everything. Still the same problem.

Any help is appreciated. Thanks!

That's normal. It's a mechanism that prevents constant charging and discharging, which can shorten the lifetime of your battery. 🙂

wow thanks a lot for the fast reply mad jew 🙂 I will sleep better tonight. I was soooo worried. Didn't want to send this beautiful machine back to apple 😛
