New MacBook - Closed Screen Problem...

When I close the screen, my MacBook randomly flickers on. I can tell because the Apple logo randomly turns on for about a second. I know this was a problem in the past. How'd they fix it then?

Could be that it is set to wake for incoming network activity. You can check that in system prefs/ power.
